Thanks all for the posts, I really appreciate your comments.
I knew it would come down to technique, after all, I've only been a "Bowler" for about 3 months now and I still have a long way to go on my technique and form. I can guarantee one thing though, and that is that I've tried just about everything there is. I've tried every lane position and rolling over every board, and just about every different hand/wrist position and release there is. After all of this for about three months, the 2nd arrow seems to work best for me as far as consistency and comfort.
I can't complain about the lane conditions, because I always bowl in the same house, and I don't know enough about lane conditions/oil patterns to complain a whole lot. However, I do know that the house I play in has pretty heavy oil, and my Scout Reactive is rated "poor" in heavy oil. This is another reason why I went for the side of the lane type shot, to avoid the heavy oil that hindered my ball's performace. (Correct me if I'm wrong on that statement)
In any case, I guess more practice will help me more than anything. After I get a bit more consistency, maybe I'll post again and be able to convey exactly what my problem is and form a more legitimate question as to what kind of ball I'm looking for.
Thanks all for the replies, I really do appreciate it.
Happy New Year to you all-----
