I'm in trouble for the summer!!!
« on: June 03, 2006, 04:05:11 AM »
Okay well summer league began this week, we here in Fla. are a few weeks behind in leagues because of Wilma. Anyway, I go out the first night and shoot 211, 200, 290 for a 701 series. Problem is my average is only 198. So now, next week, I'm coming in with a 233 average...LOL... I have no illusions about keeping it that high...LOL... but what I could use is some advice so I don't put too much pressure on myself... Thanks in advance

Same dilema I was in, except I bowled bad last week and dropped my average down a few haha

Don't worry about average, one game at a time

Actually I think Ty has the best answer, simply because that's how I did well this week. I was having fun, and not paying attention to score, that sounds like a good game plan for next week, thanks guys

Remember that its a team effort.  You have teammates.  They have to understand that you are a bit over your head and they need to step up.

As for you personally, keep your mind on closing frames.  Execute well and keep those frames closed.
