converting to leftie
« on: June 17, 2010, 06:01:35 AM »
I recently suffered a muscle tear in my right arm that may require surgery.
I was wondering if I wanted to roll leftie do I need to shift the pin on all of my bowling balls? Or what if I leave it as is ? What type of reaction will I get rolling leftie?

If you roll your current equipment without relocating the pin/cg the ball will not hook all that great. Really late flip to the ball and I'm sure you probably don't have a well defined roll with the opposite hand. Best bet is to get a mid priced ball, drill it label leverage for lefty and if you need more pop then move to a more aggressive layout and change surface. I'm thinking about bowling left handed on my every other sunday leauge as an experiment.
