Need ball suggestion help (mild resin)
« on: September 30, 2003, 12:29:10 AM »
Hey guys. Once again I have a big hole in my ball line-up.  I need a fairly weak resin ball to fit in between my Too Hot and my Eraser Particle Pearl.  The gap between them is too big, and almost a 10 board difference on the lane.

Too Hot is drilled over the label .5" pin and shined to about 3000 right now.  It has a few games on it, so it has a slightly weaker reaction than before anyway.

EPP is drilled pin under the ring and cg kicked out about .5" (2" pin) with a weight hole even with and right of the thumb.

I have a shooter I am thinking of shining, but I am not sure if it is weak enough even then.

I have been looking at the Hot Wire from storm and the Sonic X Solid from roto, but don't know much about this end of the market since companies haven't been pushing weaker balls over the last few years.

Any ball suggestion help is appreciated

Well, the Too Hot is stronger than the Sonic X Solid, so I'd suggest the Hot Wire........

Pearl Beast or Spirit II from Columbia.

Savage Pearl from Ebonite.

Eraser Blaze from Storm.
