need for a particle ball ?
« on: September 27, 2009, 01:09:12 PM »
do you think there would be a need for a particle ball these days and what lane conditions would you use one on if any? solid and pearl.
I have a few thoughts of my own but would like to see some other opinions.

The particle balls I have I did not buy because they were particle balls. The 5 I have have five really different reactions. I have 3 solids and 2 particle pearls:

Visionary Ogre Particle
Legends Yeah Baby (medium-heavy oil, strong backend ball)
Legends New Standard (medium to medium+ oil & medium backend ball)
Lanemasters Counter Strike (small backend, control ball on medium, wet/dry oil)
RotoGrip Venus (medium-light oil)

i traditinally like to use solid particle on dry lanes cuz it rolls out but still has the hitting power when it gets to the pins and i like to use partical pearl when the heads are fried and there is a good amount of carrydown i also like solid particle on wet dry conditions it seems to smooth it out for me
iv had several particles
diesel particle pearls
diesel particle
power diesel
shift
depth charges
just to name a few
but by far my favorite particle ball ive ever own was my first depth charge it had a inch and a half pin and it was drilld with pin under bridge cg swung right with a weight hole on my pap the ball was really smooth it was the best dry lane ball i ever owned saddly it crack a couple years ago
thats just my appinion on partical
