Need help
« on: August 25, 2012, 07:16:50 AM »
So I need help deciding on a new ball. Right now I all my balls are drilled to break pretty hard, some are earlier then others but all just want to break hard. I would like a ball that I can use when the front of the lanes get dried up. My balls now are Total NV, Cell, and a Nomad Pearl. Any suggestions?

How much weaker?  The Nomad Pearl isn't that weak of a ball so how much of a step down do you want?

That's not what I mean....Even if a Nomad Pearl is drilled to "go long", it's not necessarily a weak ball.  How much weaker do you want the new ball to be compared to that piece.

I just want a ball for when the heads of the lane burn up. What I would like to do is to only move a couple of boards to the left from the start of the first game for the third game

706A, I was very impressed with how clean and smooth this ball is. There is also the Hammer Arson Pearl, which is a step down, but still does the job with amazing carry.

The Vibe series sounds like it would be right around what you want. On a normal THS in high heat days I can be comfortable with the Midnight Vibe. Very smooth and predictable.
