Lately I have become very constistent with being able to string strikes in small sections (5 or 6 in a row). However, my spare shooting is beginning to suffer. Particularly, the 3-6-10. I have left this quite a few times over the past few weeks and cant seem to make it. What is the "formula" to making this spare?? Should I throw straight or not?? Where do I need to stand and throw?? Please Help!!

I teammate of mine shoots a strikeball at his, meaning he acts like he has the 1-3 pocket. I myself use my strik ball and flaten my hand. I aim for a heavy
6 and shoot.
When flattening your hand the key is making sure that the ball is rolling end over end, so that it rols straight.

I can flatten out any ball to go straight, but my plastic ball has helped me more with 3-6-10's than 10 pins alone. My percentage of 10's is a little higher with plastic, but I'm much better on the 3-6-10 combos. I actually target them differently. On the 10, I'm at the last dot on the left and target 18. For the 3-6, I want to be at the left edge of the lane, maybe partially over the gutter and target 22.
