There at least 3 Thanksgiving eve tournaments  HP lanes, Gahanna, and Hillcrest all have pre-turkey day tournaments.  Big tournament south of Cols in Chillicothe same night, usually draws over a hundred entries easily. COBT tournaments about 1 every 6 weeks or so around Columbus.  Christmas and New Years tourneys as well coming up in the C-bus area.  Your just up the street from Hillcrest, W. Broad St just of of I-270, Westside...

HP moved their tournament off this Weds night to Saturday. Too much competition that is too close.

COBT hasn't ran an event since last May. Their website is www.thecobt.com. Unless they have updated it since last weekend, no new info to report.

All-night type marathon on Dec 11 maybe at HP. Handicap plus on house shot.

Day before New Years there are sweepers at both Capri and Sequoia. On New Years day, there are doubles at Capri (noon start) that is either has at least one female or male over 50 on the doubles team.

I know Eastland is running a tournament thanksgiving day, and Holiday runs a handicap tournament every friday, Wayne Webbs Columbus Bowl still has the no-tap doubles every friday along with a eliminator every sunday after Parsons Rec.

I believe the house in Chillicothe are called Shawn-ee (spelling could be wrong) i know they run quite a few scratch tournaments on sport legal shots.

I know Hillcrest as well will run a few tournaments for the holiday''s, I will find those out if you want since ill be subbing there this week.

Mind boggling to say the least that there is pretty much nothing all year and then this week(end) there are 5-6 tournaments to bowl. Simply amazing.

One could have to take out a small loan to keep up this weekend.
