What's the strangest to happen in league?
« on: February 18, 2004, 06:32:25 PM »
Last night, I start out with a 199 (my league avg. is 164) and I follow it up with a 145!!  The ball kept falling off my thumb -- I think I was sweating quite a bit, so for the 3rd game I start pounding my grip ball pretty hard.  Now my hands are dry but the ball is starting to stick a little.  I open in the 9th leaving me at 201 and a chance at my 2nd highest game in this league.  I brooklyn the 1st 2 balls and, on the 3rd, the weirdest thing happened.  I get set up, relax my arm and hand (part of my preshot) and then I go....next thing I know, I'm standing there with the ball up over my head because it never came off my hand!!!  Strangest thing I've ever had happen to me!!  It was like someone glued it to my hand!!  After the laughter died down, I pull my self together and throw my strike for a 231 and a great although weird night!!

well the strangest that I've seen some one do is.... after they missed a spare they would get on the approach of the lane and do 10 push ups after EACH miss. what a loser, his arms are gonna be dead after everytime he does that, especially cause he isn't that good at making his spares. well I guess this will help him improve with his spares although there are other ways, lol oh well.

Was it Leftside?  OK, so I doctored the post a little.
