Hola fellow bowlers! Back on Father's Day while "playing" basketball(I stink) I slipped and suffered a grade 3 shoulder separation.. It was my bowling shoulder and after getting a couple of opinions decided not to have surgery.. My shoulder is gaining strength every week now, but I still feel a lot of stifness and soreness after bowling.. I am considering dropping my equipment from 15lbs. to 14lbs. but am afraid I won't be able to get the same kind of pin-action with the lower weight.. A friend suggested maybe try going down, but get a high end ball that will really hook since my speed is staring to increase to pre injury speeds (16-17).. I am hoping someone out there in bowler land will maybe be able to provide some pros & cons.. I am not in any real pain, but I am trying to think in terms of the "long haul" so to speak.. So any input would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks and keep on bowlin baby!
