Reason,  is that if you are a stroker, you should go with something like a Reign or 920A (higher end).  If you are more a tweener or cranker, you may want to go with something more mid performance that still has a strong cover (Rattler, Python, LaneBreaker, 715A).  Another consideration is the Freeze which has a high end cover that people say is stronger than they thought and strong off the dry but is well below high end cost.

That helps ALOT.  17 at the pins means you are around 18-18.5 at your release so you are fairly speed dominate.  Definitely want to go higher end with either a Reign or 920A.  I would do a 55 x 4.5 x 30 and put a weight hole down in the P2 or P3 location.  Pin up will get the ball through the front part of the lane and the weight hole down will help the ball peel off the friction on the backend.
