Title: Need your help
Post by: Scolai on January 14, 2009, 01:26:48 AM: About.com is a storehouse for information on just about every topic under the sun. One of their minor faults, however, is that they do not have a Bowling page on About. I'm trying to encourage them to offer a bowling site, but to no avail. I'm afraid my singular voice is not being heard.

There are millions of bowlers in this country alone, and many millions more worldwide, who could use an information storehouse about bowling on About.com. If you would, write a letter to the PR person at About and express your desire to see an About.com site for bowling.

Personally, I'm interested in being the guide for the bowling site (don't worry, all bowling - no religion on about for me) as a means of filling this void in content. That way, I can make good use of my contacts within the PBA, my experience as a professional, my background in writing, and my years of experience in bowling (21 years worth, to be precise).

Help a guy out, and help the bowling community out by opening this opportunity to reach more people about bowling.
