Needing a pearl particle in the line up
« on: December 19, 2005, 09:50:41 AM »
I'm needing to put a pearl particle in the line up and would like opinions on these listed. I have no preference in company.

Brunswick Ambush
Ebonite Big Time Pearl
Lane 1 Enriched Uranium
Roto Grip RSP
Storm Depth Charge or Ragin Banshee
Track Exception 5.0

I know it's not on the list, but I would go with a Dynothane Vendetta Sniper.  Amazing ball and nice on the wallet.  The RSP is also a nice ball also.

Sorry haven't updated my profile in about a month. The 5.0 I had was a 3rd drill ball that was given to me and was never drilled up to fit me and was sold.

you don't need one; you want one.

Particle pearls are now like many other balls: some have one reaction, some have another. SOme go long and snap; some roll early and handle more oil.  some are dull, some are polished. SOme flip; some arc.

There is no one reaction for which you "need" a particle pearl.

Once you admit you want one, half the guilt is gone.

Hammer Big Blue Pearl is a very under rated ball.
Mine is over two yrs old..still same consistent reaction and superb hit and carry.
Can be used on any condition except extremes.

Been there, done that, got rid of it...  Don't see many Prime Times out there either.

I'm a Storm guy, but if it has anything to do with particle, Brunswick makes the best particle stuff, bar none.  Even though I no longer have it, I liked the reaction shape of my RSP.  Drill it strong though.  I have a stacked Depth Charge, and it rolls great, you'd probably just have to knock the shine off it, it can be a little over/under.  I'd vote for the Ambush, you can't go wrong with the price, and it's a Brunswick particle pearl, I'd say it's the one.

I would strongly suggest the RSP. $200 ball performance at a mid-price point
