Title: nerve damage in index finger

hi my son  hurt his index finger real bad,hadi t crushed inbetween a pig and a gate,doctors says cant do much besides therapy, my question is, is there a wrist brace that could help take the pressure of the finger while bowling,he has tried taping fingers together,and a few other things suggested at the bowling alley, thank you.
