An interesting league night. Due to a crazy work travel schedule, this was only my second week out of the season. A couple weeks back, I had traded for a Network, so had just finished the plug work and was ready to throw it for the first time. A few warm up shots and I couldn't believe the reaction/area I seemed to have (are all were on the right lane). I stepped over to the left lane and missed the head pin! No time to throw a second shot...
Made a couple of adjustments and managed to shoot in the low 200s the first two games. I was reasonably happy, given it was the second night out and first time throwing the ball. Hadn't missed all night on the right lane, but the carry just wasn't quite there on the left.
The 3rd game I pulled out my Wrecker drilled with a MO hole (it seems to finish a touch stronger on the backend) and threw it on the left lane. Dead flush..crushed it. I proceeded to throw a 300 by alternating balls...Wrecker on the left lane and Network on the right.
First time I have ever done that!

Nice work! That would be a first for me, too. I've always been able to use the same ball on both lanes (sometimes different lines). Congrats!

Nice...! Is there a patch for that ??? :-\ If not, there should be... :P

I did that several years ago at a house that had wood lanes. The left lane had problems due to a water leak in the roof. Every time we bowled league on that pair, I used a different ball for each lane. The bowling center has since closed due to the roof caving in. The center was bulldozed down and is now a parking lot.

Congrats! That is what you call "using your head" for that situation.
