Name me a ball that hits like garbage
« on: February 19, 2007, 11:09:39 AM »
Just because I'm tired of hearing about how everyone's favorite ball hits so hard.    I know it's all about matchup, and there is no magic juice in some balls and not in others.

Mr. Lebowski, this is Bill Salnicker with the Southern Cal Bowling League, and I just got a, an informal report, that a member of your team, uh, Walter Sobchak, drew a firearm during league play. If this is true of course, it contravenes a number of the league's by-laws, and article 27 of the league...

Only two come to mind for me, and the first was when I was less knowledgeable.  The Command Zone Arc just never did it for me.  It looked like it revved up and read the lane well, but just wasn't very effective for me.  It wasn't really bad, but something else was always more effective on the same lanes.  The other was the V2 Particle.  On medium oil, it revved too early and burned up (no surprise).  On anything heavier, it never did much.  I had to really hit high flush to get consistent carry.  After two drilling's and multiple surfaces, I sent it on it's way.  I'm sure they were good balls for many, but I never had much luck with either.
