Ron – I loved the #4 on the good bowlers. I have to bite my tongue every time someone on this site claims they ran into a reverse block in their home house in a league.

I can't find the article? I went to the site and it shows teaching old dogs new tricks as the current article, and then I clicked on archive and I can't find it there either.

dissterb, I found the tip with no problem.

When you get there, try hitting the Refresh button on the browser.  Maybe you are only seeing a stored page and not the one from the website?

SmoothBowling,
No, change axis tilt and axis rotation with your hand.

Of course your next question will be OK how do I change them.
There is no way I can tell you with words I don’t think.
I will put that on my list of things to write articles about. I will have to use some pictures and graphics.
“MI 2 AZ” will tell you it can be hard to change tilt even if I am there showing you.

I think pitches should be only used to keep the ball on your hand without squeezing, until the second it should come off for the best release….and keep you from marking up your thumb or fingers with score spots.

Ron,
High Average bowlers mistakes 1 & 2: What is the best way to read the balls axis rotation when it goes down the lane? I have trouble in that area.

i wish i could apply your tip of playing on different lane conditions. These stupid houses refuse to put out anything where when i bowl under 650, im pissed. when i get to bowl on tougher conditions, which is few and far between, i do learn a lot. i just wish there was some way to get more experience with different lanes. By the way, where in ohio is your clinic? i am in a detroit suberb and was just wondering how far the clinic is away?
