A little over a month ago I had a used Roto Grip Theory drilled that had been completely plugged and resurfaced. So when I went to get it drilled the driller came out onto the lanes and watched me throw several balls. During the time that he watched me he said that my game was fudamentally solid but that consistantly hitting my mark was definitely my weak point, which is something I already knew. Since then, and mostly by accident, I've figured out something that has definitely helped increase my accuracy. Instead of looking at the mark/board that I want to hit, I look about three boards to the left of that spot. (I'm right handed.) I won't say that I hit my mark every time, but the percetage is way up. And I know that it was just practice, but putting this method to the test I've thrown 11 games (with three diferent balls) and I've had two games in the 160s, a 256, 245 and the others have been in the 190s to low 200s. So something is working!!
So I was just wondering if this is an issue others have had a problem with and did this same method work for you, or am I just wierd and this solution is unique to me.
Thanks!!
