Pearl Ball
« on: April 18, 2004, 09:01:32 PM »
I was looking for a pearl ball to replace my pacific storm and a few guys recomended the Big hit pearl or the Silver streak Pearl, however the Pro Shop I went to does/can not get hold of them as he says they are "older" equipment maybe thats UK pro shop proprietors for you.....

Are there any recent pearl balls that have been released around that are any good? The cheaper the better.

I am a medium/slow speed tweener.

Thanks for any help guys.....
I would have got away with it if it was not for those pesky kids (Behind my lane) and those blasted 10 pins.

There are tons of good pearls out there.  The more info you provide, the better we can help.

Are you bowling on dry, light, medium, or heavy oil?  Are you looking for arc or snap?  Personal - more details if you can find out: rev rate, PAP, speed, throw up the back or come around the side...

Big Hit Pearl (light oil) and SS Pearl (medium oil) are still both being produced, so they should be available.  Maybe your distributer only makes an initial order of balls then doesn't restock?  According to BBR, the Pacfic Storm was made for medium light oil a few years ago.  If you want a direct replacement, the Big Hit Pearl would be a good choice.
