Turning to early?

lately I have been having a problem with turning my hand to early, I'm actually suitcase-ing the ball on the downswing, does anyone have any advice? I have tried leading with the ring finger/pinkie, to keep my palm straight but it hasn't seemed to help

I would suggest practicing by standing at the foul line in the position you normally end up in at release.
Simply swing the ball while standing there and turn your heads and watch your ball as it swings focusing on staying behind the ball longer.

You need to watch it happen to over come your bodies "muscle memory" of turning early.
Plus if you don't see the change for yourself you won't get a true idea if you have really fixed this other than looking at the track flare on your ball.

You can also practice your armswing without the ball making sure not to over rotate your hand at release as well as keeping your hand flatter behind the ball.

If it's a really bad early problem you may want to even go to practicing staying    
almost straight up the back of the ball with very little axis rotation.

A couple of other idea's is you could practice with a football throw underhanded a spiral lateral to some one or to a spot about 6 to 9 feet away. You can use a half size football no need for a regular size. Do not forget to step into the throw with your left foot(if you are righty). Once you can repeat this action within 10 throws, try releasing as soon as you pass your hip. This will be closer to when you release with a bowling ball.

Another reason for this to occur is your feet getting to the foul line ahead of your ball. For me most times my feet are too fast, and this occurs when trying to keep my ball speed down and keep the rev's up.
