BowlingChat,
Upon further reflection, I think there could be more merit than originally thought. Of course depending on the standardized form and if pics of acutally balls, and videos could be attached to the actual review. Arms with this information, a review might be worth something.
Some items that I would like to see considered on the standardized form is the actual bowlers specs (or a link to a location where the spec's could be stored... ie. like a profile which would also be a standard form). This should include, Ball Speed off hand and through pins, rev rate, tilt and PAP. How long bowling, current average and potential history (major accomplishments such as #300's, #800's, City/State Titles, Pro titles, Other Tournament Wins... etc) This section would go to rate the bowler. It would even be nice of there could be a video attached of the bowler in his profile.
For the ball review it self all the standard information such as but not limiting to:
1. Weight
2. Top Weight
3. Pin Length
4. Pin to Pap Length
5. Pin to MB Length
6a. Mo's Dual Angle Layout Specs ( ie. 70 x 5.5 x 30 )
or
6b. Degree Layout
7. Picture of Ball
8. Video of reaction
9. Expectation (What specifically was the bowler attempting to obtain)
10. Results (What specifically did the bowler recieve)
11. Commentary - Personally refelction of the ball
12. Who drilled it
13. How long have you had the ball
14. Rating.
I will also donate to the cause but I want real substance from the reviews.
