New Cheetah?

Whenever 17% of the field averages less than 200 on a pattern change I'm interested. Does anyone know what the changes were?

Oil applied vs what the oil is applied to.

Curious if it was tested much in Jonesboro prior to competition… .or just picked and applied assuming the lanes wouldn't matter much.

Ciminelli said the gutter was not playable and he played around 10 with a Revolt Havoc during qualifying

Only way they could make it tougher is to take away the bump at the gutter.

Took a foot of oil away and added more mil's of oil. Oiled 2 to 2 front and at end of pattern. But they need to make this its own pattern and not call it the Cheetah. The Cheetah is what it is built for speed..

Also Jonesboro topography comes into play also, a lot of people believe the ball is still going downhill at the backend, which means ball doesn't slow down like most centers..

I wonder how many people were slamming their proverbial cocks in a car door trying to play the gutter because it's "cheetah".

Some tried to force it, but you really had to play it like a US open condition. Start right and go left or vise/versa for lefty. All the top pro's started right, Rash, Jones,O'Neal, Barnes ect.
Urethane was in play as well for several.

The young guns weere the ones that jumped left quickly, Marshal Kent for one but they all had to migrate around to find the pocket.

Ryan C was just cramming it to the pocket, blew away the field until the title game. They oiled the title pair in the morning and was not bowled on until late for the title game. Could be why he struggled in the title match..

They should have been using slow response balls anyways!
