6 ball bags
« on: August 05, 2003, 02:42:07 PM »
Of those who have them, do you like them and if you used them on a plane trip say for nationals, where they pretty good?  I would hate to buy one, and then turn it into a really big boat anchor.  I have 16 pound equipment, and would like to get away from 3 ball bags since the weight limit has gone into affect harshley.

who makes a good 2 ball tote?

Both Storm and Roto Grip have decent totes with and without the side pocket for shoes or tools or whatever else you carry with you.  I do wish they were the U shaped zipper instead of just straight across and that the shoulder strap was detachable, but those are minor issues for my purposes.  The totes are all that I use and they are all holding up well and look basically new...

Anymore, a lot of people are shipping their equipment ahead before they go to a tournament.  Sure makes things easier at the airport.  Just call your hotel or better yet the center the tourney is at and see if they will accept your equipment.  When your done, just ship it all back to yourself.  There are usually plenty of Pack-N-Sends or the like around.

Guess a lot of things are changing since 9/11.  Could you imagine if you were a tournament skeet or trap shooter!  Or how about a bulls-eye pistol competitor?  Talk about a hassle.

How about those people that compete in the lumber jack competitions?  Go to the airport with a huge double bitted axe, some hobnailed boots and a large razor sharp saw...  That would cause a stir at the metal detectors!!!!!!
