1/31/2025 marks the launch day for a New Era of Swag Bowling with 6 new balls to choose from. Swag is now available at your favorite distributors, so stop into your local pro shop and grab 1 or all 6.

Lord Field owns the brand thru California Bowling

Richgels reported they didn't PBA register this year and it was acquired by BowlerMart. I would guess the balls are still made for them in Korea as the new balls have some of the same cores as discontinued balls and they have discontinued Lord Field balls on their list. It's really the only way to get into the ball market and make enough money for it to possibly work. The reality is getting in to the bowling ball game now is good money chasing none.

Milo - my understanding is late last year Swag was sold. I previously sold the California Bowling brands at my shop….I have a customer who ordered an Unreal and its to be at my shop this week. So we shall see.

Okay, that makes sense. There are a few people in this area who work for California Bowling, but I have not heard anything. I do know they moved the warehouse to Texas though.

Received the Unreal today. Has a Made in Korea sticker on the ball - so not much has changed.

Swag Bowling is now an entity of BowlersMart. While the balls are still poured in Korea, all design and testing is done in Florida.

Exactly!
Swag reminds me of the early days of DV8, just trying so hard to join the cool kids crowd by being edgy.

Which of the six new Swag Bowling balls would you recommend for a bowler looking for a strong backend reaction in medium—to—heavy oil conditions?

The Unreal has emerged as the favorite ball in the line up by most staffers. This ball will definitely give you what you are looking for.
