If somebody wants to build a new forum, I can host it at a website I am still working on. The website will be called AOBowling.com (Ambassadors of Bowling). If there is somebody here that has the time to be admin of the site, then that person can be in charge of banning wicked and all other mod. duties.
I just don't have time to build one, and I'm not good at it anyways!

I have a dual Xeon 2.8 GHz Linux server with 2 terabytes of data transfer at my disposal. I can build this exact website over the weekend.
But honestly, I don't think that's the solution. It seems they've removed that idiot's threads anyways.

I'm currently developing and testing a new site on my intranet. With many of the same features as this site, but with added ones as well:
Comment on reviews
Ball comparisons
Monitoring of all user activity
No limiting search dates
Polling
And many others...

jjweb or Tony if you ever start another site with ball reviews as part of the site.
Suggestion. Make a template or whatever you webmasters call it where the majority of information MUST be filled in to submit.
Example:
Ball specs. before drilling weight, pin distance, top weight
Layout
Bowlers specs. ball speed, axis tilt, revs.<---that most do not have CATS specs. but some idea of what they have as far as technique is better than nothing
Conditions used on and how many games before review was posted.
Overall impressions.
All of this information is needed I believe before a review should be allowed to be posted.

Scott, I like the idea. I'll look into adding such a feature or maybe have different levels of membership. Something like: basic members can only read reviews, not post or have to have them approved before posting. Then have a "trusted member" level where they don't require approval.

I'd still go with the template Josh. Makes filling out the information more complete and users would know what to expect.

Yeah, creating a web template is easy. The database part is easy. It's the integration with the registered users that is the challenge for me. PostNuke is a booger to integrate with.
All it takes is time. Time. Ah, time.
What would you guys be looking for?
