Ok guys, I need some help…

I am on the board for our local association and we are in the process of changing our HOF requirements and nomination letter…

I am looking for some ideas from other members on what requirements would be necessary to qualify as a HOF bowler.  Our association uses 2 categories; Meritorious & Performance.  So I really need 2 sets of requirements (1 for each category).

Also if anyone has a copy of there particular nomination letter for HOF I would like to take a look at it.  I will be building a new form for our association, so would also like to get some ideas on how others are put together…

Thanks for the help.

our local association has 3 standards
the persons stats, what the person has done he progress the game of bowling(coaching, teaching, or volunteer work with the youth), work with the association (officers and other contributions). every season they take a vote at the association meeting on weather to change or not it's been this way since they started the HOF in our county. the person has to fall under at least 2 of the groupings

Must be 40 years old.  Must be nominated by another HOF member.  You send in your resume, and all of the HOF members vote on two people from the list of nominees.  I think you have to have 75% of the vote of the members to get in.  Usually only 1 or 2 get in every year.

I lost out in my first year of eligibility by one vote.  Unanimous in 2006 to Houston HOF.  I am supposed to have been nominated for the Texas Hall, but not sure about that, or how that all works.
