My buddy recently purchased the same spinner that you have, it is a great investment, and since he is keeping it at my house I use it more than he does. First, make sure that you have a bucket or a shield of some sort as it will make a mess, and a bucket will keep tables clean. We use one of the large rectangular plastic tubs that you can get from Wal Mart or Target to keep it in, it is high enough to catch the water and cover that you will be taking off. Next, when doing your resurfacing, it is best to have a combination of sandpaper, scotch brite and abralon, as well as a water bottle. Any time that you are using sandpaper, scotch brite or abralon it is key to keep the ball wet as they will create a tremendous amount of heat from the friction. Remember to Always turn the ball 180 degrees from the first to the second position of the ball, then 90 degrees from second to third position, then 180 degrees from third to the fourth, and to use the same amount of time and pressure. I have found this to be the best way to keep all halves of the ball uniform. From there it is a matter of experimenting to get the desired reaction that you want.
