new pearlized ball
« on: December 24, 2010, 12:26:33 PM »
got some good christmas money and am going to buy a new pearlized ball. Not brand specific of anything but need something strong. I have a jigsaw trap that I am very disapointed in. i throw around 15 mph and good revs and looking on the site it seems like the wicked is a good ball.

so what is the strongest pearl ball?

No, the Wicked is not the strongest pearl reacting ball. That is and was never the point, for any ball. You're making a big mistake thinking pearl vs solid.

Think:
The ball reaction you want/need to handle the oil amount you are facing!
Seriously.

I would suggest the Anarchy. It's as strong as it gets when it comes to pearls.

Buying the Strongest pearl may no really help you that much. It sounds like you are facing oil, Maybe you should think about something Solid, something angular. Maybe a AfterMath from Seismic, Or Raw Profit from 900 Global.

If you must have a pearl though I would say the New Breed Particle Pearl that would probably be the strongest overall pearl.

Please do not buy a ball influenced by the people on this site. Your best option is your pro shop person or the best bowler in the leagues you bowl in THAT KEEPS HIS MOUTH SHUT UNTIL YOU ASK HIM A QUESTION .

I currently throw a VG, The sauce and the jigsaw trap. The VG is great but when it breaks down I want a different look. The problem with our pro shop is that they only carry two pearlized balls and do not get a chance to throw anything besides whats in stock. Thats why I want opinions from people who are currently throwing something different. All our pro shop has is the anarchy and mutant cell pearl right now. thanks

If you like the VG, you can probably still get a Virtual Energy, which may fill the bill for you. It is a hybrid, but more pearl than solid, and has the shape lock HD core like the Virtual Gravity.

Buy a urethane Power Groove. Strongest ball on the market

I'm in the process of trying to find out where I fit in the bowling world. I do not know my tech specs of my game, but it's all a learning process.

Way to try and coax this guy into a ball he is not asking for, purely for your own personal gain. If you are going to sell on this site, put what you have up for sale and let people contact YOU. Don't try and scam some guy into buying a ball that he does not need, just so you can make a profit.

You would probably love the Virtual Energy.  Great all around ball.  Does have some problems with carry down.  Tends to slide, but is my benchmark.   I wouldn't be able to say about the Anarcy yet. Mines in the mail and can hopefully get it drilled on Thurs!!! I'll let you know how it rolls.

Balls in the bag and order they come out:
#1- Virtual Energy
#2- Invasion
#3- Virtual Gravity
#4- Gravity Shift
#5- Big Hit (spare and really dry)
#6- Teal Rhino Pro (oldie but a goodie)

Watch the reviews on the new Bank Pearl from 900. Initial reviews look real good and sounds like a pearl with plenty of hook.
