Just got hooked up with a nice new pair but.......I need your suggestions on ways to smooth up the rubber(leather fronts but rubber back to the heel) ASAP. My last pair turned out nice but it took eight years of use! LOL! Thanks-Mike

I am not sure of what you mean. Some bowlers will file or sand the front edge of the heel so that it looks like this: / instead of like this: | . That allows them more slide because the sharp edge is not grabbing the approach.

Sorry. The soles are very tacky. I tried a fine textured form of Scotch-Brite but that didnt take away any of the stickiness. I want a quick way to simulate the smoothness of a few years use.-Mike

I think I took The Maroon or the green scotchbrite pad to mine.
