Ten Strike Shootout Information/Format:
10 lanes will be used for competition. There will be no practice allowed on lanes that are used for competition. Each person pays $10 for first attempt. This $10 covers 3 attempts at throwing 10 strikes, entry into the longest string jackpot, entry into the 300 jackpot, and a pre-determined amount of 50/50 tickets. Re-entry will be $2 per attempt. To minimize wait times, bowlers will start on lanes 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9 of the lanes used. Bowlers must throw a natural strike on 10 consecutive lanes, working their way to the right. To win the main jackpot, bowlers must throw ten consecutive strikes on ten consecutive lanes. Winner receives 90% of the jackpot. The other 10% is used to start a new jackpot. Once you miss a strike, your attempt is over. The longest string pot will be paid every night, and is won by the person who throws the most consecutive strikes for the night. The Longest String pot will start at $25 every night, and a portion of the $10 entry will be added into this pot. The "300 pot" is a progressive pot that is won by throwing 2 more strikes in addition to the 10 consecutive strikes. Once the bowler throws the 10 strikes to win the main jackpot, they will draw two lanes that they will then go to, and attempt to throw natural strikes on. If the bowler succeeds, they win the "300 pot" jackpot. This pot will start at $25 the first week. Winner receives 100% of this jackpot.
Ten Strike Shootout Rules:
1. No Altering Surface After You Have Taken Your First Shot.
2. We ask that you only bring a maximum of two bowling balls down on the lanes per attempt.
3. Bowlers must bowl in order of tickets bought.
4. Any bowler suspected of slowing competition will be warned 1st time and disqualified second time. We are trying to give as many bowlers an opportunity to compete.
5. No special privileges to bowlers on strings. We will not hold up competition. This ensures maximum participation.
6. Common lane courtesy is encouraged, but delay will not be tolerated.
7. Do not leave equipment on lane after your attempt is over. Any equipment left for a prolonged period is subject to relocation.
8. Keep your emotions in check. We are all trying to compete towards the same goal.
9. Any attempts to prevent a bowler from succeeding in competition will not be tolerated, and the offender faces nightly disqualifications.
10. Any damaging (hitting ball returns, chairs, etc) reactions will not be tolerated, and any damages will be the bowler's responsibility.
11. Foul lights will be in play.
12. Any prolonged breakdowns will be handled by tournament officials.
13. We ask that you limit the amount of items (rosin bag, towel, etc) brought into bowler's area. Once your round is over, please remove all equipment from area.
14. Once your ticket is coming up in drawing, bowlers are asked to have equipment prepared. Once your ticket number is called, please report to your assigned lane.
15. Any ball that goes into gutter is considered dead. Pins hit by rack will not count.
16. Tournament official's word is final. Any rule not covered will be handled on a per incident basis.
