For those that want to read this press release.  To sum it up, sounds like AMF is going under soon.  Can someone with better knowledge shed some light?

Amf has been shuttering centers all over the country for months. It's a shame, but if other centers were run like my local Amf center,it's not a big surprise.

I know AMF in my area has sold some of its bowling centers over the past few years.  We still have 3 houses operated by them- AMF Thruway (a 60 lane house that hosts pro tour events from time to time and does really good business during the week), AMF Airport (a 66 lane house that is rumored to possibly be for sale), and AMF Lancaster (a 36 lane house that may close or be sold).

There was talks of AMF being bought out by Bowltech from what I understand.  Not sure what's happened there.
