USBC Rule
« on: November 03, 2006, 08:10:40 AM »
I know it's been said on here before, but I can't find that particular link right now. Does anyone on here remember the rule about having to have equipment with the USBC on the serial number by a certain year. If anyone could give me some info on that or a link or something. thanks

New stuff has to have "USBC*" as part of the serial number if it's approved (to make it easier to distinguish the three non-approved balls from the 25000 approved ones).  There was a clause about stuff without the logo being illegal after, I think 1/1/08, but I don't think it went into effect.

It was a part of the CG-within-1"-of-grip-center stuff that was defeated.  Those rules specified that current equipment with an x-hole or the CG too far from grip center would be illegal after 1/1/08, but I believe all the "dated" sections were removed.
