What if you don't like your new ball?
« on: January 20, 2006, 02:29:32 PM »
I'm hopefully going to be purchasing a new ball within a month.  I'm leary of it because I have only bowled with rubber balls for the last 30 years or so (I know, it's time for a change).  Anyway, what if I buy it, get it drilled, practice with it, use it in league, give it a "fair" trial in other words, and I just can't use it?  Hooks too much, or not enough, can't control it, etc.

I will be making the purchase online because the balls are SOOOO much cheaper than the local shops.  I'm thinking once it is drilled, it is mine, nobody will take it back.  Many of you buy several balls in a year, (independently wealthy I guess?), what do you do with the ones that just don't work for you?
