I am going to Baton Rouge for the USBC National.  Does any one have a suggestion on where to stay?

Check: www.mybowlingvacation.com , you can filter by City (i.e. Baton Rouge) and get an idea of what is nearby.  I booked my Nationals trip through them for a pretty good price(round trip air, hotel for 4 nights  and rental car for my wife and I, cost me just over a $1000.).  You can book just hotel or any combonation of packages.

Good Luck!

Not really but the last time I was there for Nationals the Marriott across from the convention center had incredible seafood lasagna!  The low end of the place was like an ice box and the high end was comfortable.  Had a good time and made money to cover the trip plus some.
