New Youth Rule! help needed

With the new rule stating that a youth member can't recieve more than $500 in an event, I have the following question...

Would I be able to bowl in a PBA regional (not as a PBA member) and keep my youth status??? I would, of course, not accept more than $500

You cannot, repeat, CAN NOT bowl for cash under the new rule.

A youth bowler may enter an adult singles league/tournament offering cash of any amount as long as he/she signs USBC's waiver, waiving the rights to the cash that might be won, before the event begins. If the tournament directors are willing to convert the cash to scholarship dollars to be deposited in SMART, and mark that on the waiver, that would be allowable, up to any dollar amount.

Youth bowlers are now allowed to win bowling equipment, gift certificates, apparel, etc. up to $500 in any event.

Would this also include SCHOLARSHIPS? I have noticed that alot of YOUTH TOURNAMENTS offer scholarships and was wondering if the rule included those...

STRIKE ZONE & PYRO. STAND 22 AND THROW 10 OUT TO 5 AND CRUSH THE POCKET. AT LEAST THAT IS THE PLAN OF THE NIGHT...

I believe there is no limit on the scholarship amounts, but the USBC is now requiring all scholarships to be managed through SMART.

USBC requires that all certified tournaments that award scholarship dollars bank those funds with SMART.

Non-certified tournaments do not have to invest their funds with SMART and lose their interest.

There is no limit on the amount of scholarship money that can be won at a tournament certified or non-certified.
