PBA in the bag.
« on: December 02, 2009, 05:27:56 AM »
Has anyone else noticed how bad the in the bag is this year? There has been at least one mistake in it almost every week. I just find it a little sad that they can't get their information right.

What has been wrong in the last two weeks(Scorpion and Chameleon)?  I had not paid much attention to the balls used last week but I had a tough time dertermining some of the balls used on Chameleon.

Chameleon they have Ronnie Russel using a Freeze as a spare ball but he was throwing it for strikes on the left lane and using a CLR spare ball and Bill Oneill was using a cherry vibe in the second match I believe and they only have him using the Widow pearl that he used against Amleto.

Scorpion I never saw Belmo throw a Furious, DeVaney was using a Streed Rod pearl not hot rod pearl and Smallwood the only balls they have right are the Cool Nioze which he started with then I think he went to a Loud Noize but there may have been another ball in there, not possitive.

What about Rash on Scorpion?  they said it was a Radical Inferno but I would guess a Diamondback.  Haven't seen one of those in person yet though .

It was a Razyr. Either way, it still wasn't listed.

IIRC last year a lot of the balls were wrong as well, but those were live. They had 2 months to double check these, so I dunno. Not a huge deal, but if they are gonna put it up there they should list the correct ones.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.  For whatever reason, the lighting in that bay made balls appear a slightly different color than they are in person.

I was there for last weeks show and it was a Radical...

Slightly off topic, but speaking of PBA.com mistakes...Even though they updated stats today they still haven't given DeVaney his POY points. He's not on the list at all.
