my "advice" on a 10 pin as follows( this assumes you know you threw a good shot ):
1) ringing 10....the kind where the 6 pin flies around the 10 pin. this is usually caused by the incorrect angle of entry or too much ball speed. although a bad rack can also cause this as well. i don't make an adjustment on these unless i start to leave more than, say, 3 or 4 a game. ringing 10's are part of the game. when one round object collides with another round object this is bound to happen. my adjustment for too many ringing 10's is a 1/2 board move to the right on the approach.
2) flat 10.....again i'll try a 1/2 board move to the right on the approach.
