I am hoping that some of the experts on here and some of the bowlers who have palmed a ball long term can give me some guidance here -
I have had some finger trouble in the past, and am considering throwing No Thumb, as I have a strong upper body and arms. Does the no Thumb release put more strain on the fingers, or on the wrist, or is it more pressure on the arm in general?
ANy help appreciated guys and girls

Reality Is.......Working out how to carry the 10, only to start leaving the 7.

in time it may damage the elbow because to do it you have to cock your elbow and wrist.
-
I wouldn't do it one handed. Like stated, that's pretty stressful on the elbow.

Yes it will...
I started out with 16 many years ago but dropped to 15.2
The one thing I have noticed is that I dont bowl like most 2 finger bowlers and the most important thing to be a successfull 2 finger bowler is technique..
Good Luck
If you want me to tell how I bowl send me a message and see if I can help you through the beginning...

there are 5 or 6 no thumb hacks on my league there either lucky are not . but if done right it can be controled good luck.
-
if your going to try no thumb, why not try 2 hand so not all the weight is on your elbow and wrist leaving them more susceptible to damage

I saw a female throw that shot and show has 240 avg they say...
Could tell when she was getting tired because her speed started going down and it looks like it hurts your back also...
I say use 2 hands to carry the ball and drop the other hand when you are about to release. It helps with the balance of the ball...

When I did it years ago the strain was in the wrist and forearm for me. Keeping those strengthened up will definitely help. As far as the fingers, since in many cases your wrist is helping the fingers impart the extra revs I never really felt any extra finger strain than normal.
And while some no thumbers may be hacks, there are also some that are damn good on any shot. Don't just make that sweeping assumption.
