I like the Hammer line:  the acid, anger, burn, jacked, the vibes: black, blue, cherry, emerald.  All mid priced but all versitile.  Of course , in just my stupid opinion.

IMHO a dead race - almost any bigger manufacturer offers a line with proven not-so-up-to-date covers and medium strength cores. Personal preferrence, or you are looking for something specific. But otherwise, "better" lies in the eye of the beholder...

Ok the reason I put this is I'm trying to add some equipment to what I have now but I need to bowl on a budget so I didn't want to add any of the higher price stuff. I have a Virtual Gravity and Energy now.

They all make quality mid-priced stuff, but if you want to stay with Storm you can't do better than the Furious & Fast.

I'd rather check which lane reaction you are currently missing. Beyond a VG and a VE, there is much space for something much more harmless in the bag - but it is hard to make recommendations if the ball's utility is not properly specified

Why did you buy the high end stuff?

I was out of bowling for awhile and when I came back decided to give Storm a try and bought the Gravity and liked that so I bought the Engergy which I never liked. Well this weekend I bowled a tournament and the middle was dry but there was an out of bounds from 10 to the gutter. I was getting an over reaction with the two balls I have and when I tried to play in the oil if I missed by just a little bit it was either a washout out or split. I'm a stroker with 18-19mph speed so I thought I'd buy the stuff that hooks to make up for not having alot of hand.

Equally as versatile as anything mentioned is the whole Ogre lineup from Visionary.  There's a ball for every lane condition there!

Yeah, I was gonna say the Storm T-Road line now changing to the Reign line.  I never tried their Fire Line but saw a lot of Fired Ups in the day going down lane doing some damage.  One team in my old league name their team "Fired Up" & was their chant when someone got a strike on their team.  Was funny for a while, then got kind of annoying.... especially if you were a lane or 2 over almost into your release when they yelled it....

I concur on the Visionary.  They have an ENTIRE arsenal of balls, not just a couple.  Not to mention they are all current and none discontinued.

Brunswick, how can you argue with the Copperhead,Sidewinder,Rattler,Python, and Diamondback. that is one of the best minline you can get and if that is too much you can step down to the Avalanche line.

You just can't beat Visionary's mid price line. You could buy all 5 and be set from top to bottom on conditons. Also including spare which the Urethan could be used as.

Noone else comes close
