Good news/bad news

Bad news:  First game last night, I had the front 9 (throwing a Dimension straight up the 6 board, if anyone cares).  First ball of the 10th frame, I bury it high flush, beautiful shot, but leave a stone 7 pin.  279

Good news:  I actually won the Mystery Score jackpot that game!  I wasn't in any other first game jackpots (except brackets, which aren't 1st game only of course), so I wouldn't have won any money otherwise.  It was only like $50 since I split it with someone else who had a 179, but still.

Kind of funny how that worked out.

If I was bragging about it, wouldn't I start a thread titled "OMG I SHOT 279 OMG OMG OMG I AM THE GREATEST!!1!11" or something like that?  I've got better things to do with my time.    I just thought it was funny how it worked out with the jackpot.  It at least made my teammates laugh last night.

That shouldn't be news, you know I don't have any revs!    Actually, lanes were surprisingly oily last night, plus the backends weren't very clean.  It didn't last long though, I was able to move in and baby-swing a polished Gravity Shift from 10 to 5 by the 3rd game.

(And while I appreciate the "good shooting" comments, again guys, I wasn't intending on bragging about the score or anything, I just thought it was a funny story)
