Maryvale did not win the sectionals this year, Southwestern will be the representative from Western NY.
Erik, I believe will be there for Individuals, along with two of my sons teamates, Jon McGinn (threw the only 300 at sectionals, and an incredible bowler) along with Pete Maduri.
No 800 for Erik in High School competition! So, yes, he was very consistent. He has several 8's and a couple of 300's in travel league however.
He almost quit bowling before this year, after winning last years State H.S. Tourney with Maryvale and teamate/brother Cody Westfield, where they set a team state record. If he stays with this, I would not be surprised to see him with another record or two.
Erik is not a very large built young man, in fact probably about 5'6" and 135lbs, if that. But a nice lad, and righty too....LMAO....sorry wrongsiders.
