My first honor score!!

Just shot 297 with my Morich LevRG, first real honor score in league, EVER!

A couple of shaky shots in the early frames. 8th, 9th and 10th were decent shots, 11 was kind of iffy (light hit), but I fudged the 12th one. I kind of plopped it off my hand, and didn't get much on it and left the 2-4-5. If I missed about a board, maybe a board in-a-half, I think it would've made it back to the pocket.

I pretty much played the whole first game setting the ball down around 12-11 out to about 5-4.

300 would've been really nice, but oh well, there's always next time! I know I can do it!!

Congratulations and nice shooting. Now that you have made it that far it will be easier the next time. Just do your pre-shot routine and let it roll. Way to go!

Congrats, that sounds exactly how my first honor score went, even right down to leaving the 2-4-5.  But im sure the 300 is right around the corner, keep bowling well

Thanks everybody! I tried to regroup after the 297, but the lanes broke down QUICKLY and my LevRG was jumping like crazy.

Nice bowling Josh!  My first chance was similar to what you describe.  I actually threw 11 great balls, probably a better group than any of my later 300's, then got soft and went right through the face for a 4-6-10.  Paramount gray Kaboose.  Big let down after not converting the 12th.  Fortunately, it was my last game of the set.  I'd hate to see what I would have had next.  Nothing worse than almost getting there.  But when you do, it will feel even better.

Congrats,  a 300 will definitely come... and a 297 is something to be proud of... plus you get an 11 in a row plaque...
