Bowling video (new)
« on: May 14, 2004, 04:54:23 AM »
Ok, I had a bunch of messages asking me to get a better video, lol.  So I did.  I have adjusted the push away and slowed down the approach somewhat.  Too bad I can only work on one thing at a time.  I'm going to be calling a coach today or tomorrow.

Any other advice?  TIA

I'd like to compliment on the video. The little effects are cool. I had one question. Did you gutter your last ball? Looks pretty good to me. Sorry I dont know enough to be any help. Kyle

I have a natural bend in my elbow that you can see at the hight of my backswing, but on the downswing yes.

The gutter, YEP!  I just wanted to make a good release, only 1 pin was on the deck anyways.  I threw about 5 games and never shot over a 180 or so I believe, dont really remember with the news on TV above me

I just wanted to concentrate on making good releases.

Get lower and bring the ball in closer to your ankle... its liek at your calf right now.

That loft is gone... i remember the last vid.  It was commented that you werent really following through, the ball was gone when you were in your follow through.  Or something to that effect.

Good work, nice editing also.

I've been working at it as hard as I can.  Well till my knee starts to give out, so I take about 20 minute rest and get back to work.  Its great having 1.00 bowling from midnight to 8am during the week.

Yep, I noticed about needing to get lower and the line, but definately feels I'm getting that ball further down the lane.

That looks like a Uranium you're throwing, but I'm sure it's not.  Either you have a lot of oil, or that's a plastic ball, lol . .

Well its a monster bruiser, an I have all but taken my fingers out of the ball to relax my arm swing and not push through it.  I can cover the whole lane with heavy oil with this ball or play down 5, doesn't matter to me.
