Hope they rebroadcast because if it isn't football it isn't relevant.

Is that sarcasm? Because my original post was partially that...  I'm finding it harder and harder to get excited about coverage of bowling, but it's still something I strongly prefer to the rest of the mainstream sports.

Anyone know when there are reruns?

I couldn't find any!

The USBC Queens Tournament was a well kept secret. I do not recall seeing any reference to the tournament on any earlier ESPN show or anywhere else. I saw the championship game only because I was surfing around the net and came across the tournament.

If you follow USBC on facebook, it was all over facebook.  Also, it was streamed live through all of the qualifying and match play.  It was announced on the live stream and Facebook that it would be aired on ESPN2 after tennis at 2:30 pm on Sunday.  Will probably be a couple of weeks before it makes it to Youtube.   If you log onto ESPN, you can probably watch it on their site.

I can imagine nothing more boring for ME, than following USBC on Facebook.  I am sorry, just how I feel.

But I would like to watch the Queens.  Often there has been decent scoring.

REgards,

PS I will check ESPN though when searched there was really nothing there except the 230 pm event at about 5 pm.

I follow USBC on facebook and I didn't see much about it at all until it was over and ruined it before I got a chance to watch it.  I won't post any spoilers, but it was horrifically boring.  I like watching bowling because it's something I'm just into, but the show was so dead.  The crowd barely cheered.  I don't know how, but it's a complete different atmosphere from golf.  It's quiet, but interesting.  Bowling is quiet, but it's almost uncomfortable.  But again, that might be because of the scoring, if you don't throw a strike, there's not much to cheer for, be like if guys in golf were 50 feet out and the only measure of a good shot was them putting it in the hole.  The Queens was just painful unfortunately, but I still enjoy watching bowling.  The problem is that only the die hards will stay into it, if I didn't bowl or watch bowling and came across that randomly, I wouldn't be able to change the channel fast enough, there was nothing that would have caught my attention, held it, and maybe made a fan out of me.

I Tivo'ed it, watched it and will watch it again before I delete it. I found nothing wrong with the telecast personally. It was bowling as I prefer to watch, more old school without all the gimmicks. Just the ladies shoeing up and bowling.

I caught part of it...was good seeing Leanne on there and still able to work with the same basic form she had for the years the Tour existed.  I know it contributed to some physical issues though...and I dealt with some of the same things since I had patterned part of my game off of hers in the early days.

Leanne also showed about the most class and professionalism I've ever seen also, really worth watching if you can track down the video.

True.  I don't like the "showboating" that goes on now, and I prefer just watching bowling too.  I was trying to look at it critically and objectively however.  Only die hards would truly enjoy it and stick with it, as you and I and several others on this site did I'm sure.
