« on: September 26, 2003, 10:58:47 AM »
Who all on this board is from ohio. Myself i am from akron/canton area, Excalibur is from Youngstown area, we are wanting to plan a possible get together for BR bowlers in the region, just post here or message me if interested or anythin.

I usually bowl at Stonehedge, Colonial Village, Brunswick Charger, AMF Akron.

What about everyone else? Heck maybe some of us have crossed pathes and not even known it.

I'm from Centerville (just south of dayton).  I might be up in that area soon though, my grandparents live up there.  Maybe next time I go up I could bring my bowling stuff.  I think last time I went up there I bowled at an AMF center in Canton.

i bowled in it, got 4th place. turnout was good considering it wasn't advertised much, 25 bowlers i think, good payouts n stuff, alot of good shooters like Ed Carter, Bill Ligotti, and alot of good younger bowlers like Chuck Devine or Brian Laub.

i got 75 for 4th place, so 1st n second were probably good payouts and im sure turnout will be much better next month. Theres alot of other tournaments going on at like Stonehedge and Colonial Village, all are sweepers but their fun. if you want dates and times and stuff just message me on this

Springfield Ohio here, but lived in NW Canton for three years. Bowled most all houses in the Canton, Massilon and some in Akron areas.

The first kinda big tournament is coming up October 12th, at 9 am Colonial 77 has their doubles tournament, 200 dollars per team, 5 games then stepladder i think, i'm not sure the exact format, i know its 9 am start though

Then that night colonial village kicks off its sweeper schedule, so it could be a good road trip down to akron/canton for 2 tournaments at two different Colonial Houses and boy they are different. Colonial Village is old school, tough to carry, decent shot, not a wall, great backends. Colonial 77 is the easiest place to bowl on the planet, the biggest wall ever plus the best carry. If you bowl in the doubles, bring your stringin shoes, because its gunna be a slugfest

Hello, I am from Kentucky but would love to try and make it if it was close. Keep me in mind if you get anything together. Would be nice to put some faces with the names.

Thanks, cooksey
