One of our leagues got an offer to upgrade membership ($10 more) to get challenge type coins (they called them medallions) for awards instead of the amazingly cheap printed patches that they're handing out these days. These medallions would be for everything from "120 game" to "high league series"... and all the other stuff you can get patches for.
The league was told we needed to do it as a league, but then all awards earned by any of those individuals would be the upgraded variety.
Our league did not elect to participate in this - has anyone else gotten this "offer" from USBC? Any of you take them up on it?
If you could do this individually instead of as a whole league, would you do it?
