Oil Question

I'd like to know what the American bowlers consider a wet condition; eg, 40units, 60units, 80units, etc.

Please delete all those "ttt" posts; they're a waste of time and database space and bandwidth and an eyesore. It's EXTREMELY unrealistic to expect an immediate response at 4 AM!

So a medium condition in the US is around 40units, If thats the case its lower then I assumed, here down under in Australia the assumption of a medium US shot is around 60units

I don’t believe you can really just look at units.

The pattern is all important.

 How flat is it?

 How long?

You could have 100 units on the 20 board but if you only have 3 outside 15 and the run is only 25 feet it will play very dry.

You can have 20 units from gutter to gutter and a run of 45 feet with a buff to 50 and it will start very slick.

And as we know one bowlers slick is another bowlers dry.
