Just Bought A Ball Spinner. Now I Need Supplies.
« on: July 11, 2010, 01:47:45 PM »
Just bought a 1/2hp Vertex ball spinner. Now I need polishers, cleaners, abralon pads, etc. Anyone know what the best ones are? I remember seeing a really cheap website for abralon pads and stuff. Any other things I may need? If anyone knows where to get this stuff please LMK, thanks!

I've bought from this place...

http://www.bowlingbeat.com/shop/category.asp?catid=173

They are the cheapest I know about, and he sent all Siaar pads which are better than Abralon ones.  Not sure if he always does that but was a nice surprise.  The only issue I had was he didn't have the Storm polish in stock and took forever to get to the point when it wasn't coming in to get him to send pads as a replacement.  Seems to have the pads, but make sure anything else you order he actually has in stock .  Otherwise was a wonderful place to get pads and the hand sanding mitts (which you will need, it's just no fun without the mitt thing, the balls holes will about kill your hands).

supergrit.com usually has good prices on abralon pads.

never tried bowlingbeat but their prices are good.

for polishes and other things I have always used buddiesproshop.com and never ever had a problem, always shipped very very fast and the prices are good for polishes and accessories.

For me all I usually have on me is:

ebonite factory finish or valentinos snake oil.
ebonite clean n dull (its just a gel doesnt actually dull the ball)
abralon pads

rarely did I need to go outside of these products unless you are really picky or maybe you have some bowling balls that come polished with a compound like brunswick or storm in which case you would need their product to bring it back to OOB if thats the way you wanted the balls to remain.

goodluck and have some fun! I know I did! :-D
