I SUCK on the THS!!!

I swear, the more I learn the worse I get.  Its like that whole quicksand thing from The Replacements.  One thing goes wrong, then another, then another and the next thing you know you are finished.  I've spent so much time practicing releases and adjustments getting ready for States this weekend, that I am taking myself out of the game.  One day my release is wrong, the next my targeting sucks, I'm not making the proper adjustments or not making them quick enough, and now my spare game is going to HELL.  (In fact, I just got a note.  Hell said thanks but no thanks)

I HATE SLUMPS!

Clear your mind guzmand19! This happens to me from time to time and the things that seem to help me get back on track are:
1) Relaxing on the approach (take a deep breath)
2) Talking to teammates and opponents more
3) Thinking about things other than bowling when I'm not on the approach.
$) It even helps me to place small bets with teammates as a motivation to get back on track. I hate to lose money, so this works well.

AIN'T NO SUCH THING AS A VODKA MARTINI!!  If you want to drink vodka, be a man/woman and drink straight Stoli (or something better) served in a "glass" made of ice.  But don't confuse a martini with anything made with something other than gin.
