Old Bowling Hall of Fame in St Louis, Mo...Demolished.
« on: February 28, 2013, 06:23:14 AM »
Sorry to report but I did not know that the old bowling Hall of Fame was being torn down until I saw the pictures online today. Living and working in St Louis I was always proud to go to the Hall of Fame until USBC moved it. Hard to believe its gone.

Below is the link to the pictures..

I had no idea that it was closed in '08 and reopened in '10 down in Arlington, TX. That makes me sad really, I've been to the Hall of Fame in St. Louis probably a dozen times learning something new every time I went. I also enjoyed bowling on the 4 lanes they had at the old location.

Whoa... I had no idea it was being taken down as well! That was a near pilgrimage for my Collegiate team everytime we had the MidStates tournament in St. Charles! Now I'm really glad I went back there in 2008 to find my entry in the HoF, back when they posted all honour scores there!

Really sad to see this place go.. :(

If you are going to Reno this year, they have a annex set up at the Stadium. Last time I was there, it had a great exhibit on Women in bowling.
